On Wednesday 4/1/09, Philippe Poncey was announced as the 2009 – 2010 High School Teacher of the Year. The School of International Studies gathered for a “new Yearbook Photo” in order to surprise Philippe with the recognition that he has been selected for. IS is very proud of Mr. Poncey, and wish him good luck as he enters the competition for County Teacher of the Year.

On Tuesday 5/5/09, Mr. Poncey, along with the Middle and Elementary District Teacher’s of the Year were recognized along with the Runners-up and the site Teachers of the Year from the District.
