IS 2008/2009 Teacher of the Year

Mr. Philippe Poncey was selected by the IS teachers to represent them as this years’ IS Teacher of the Year. Mr. Poncey will be recognized at a District ceremony on May 5^th, 2009, and will have the opportunity to compete for the District Teacher of the Year recognition. Congratulations and Good Luck.

On Monday 3/23, Mr. Poncey was observed by the District Teacher of the Year selection committee. The committee consists of the 6 District Teachers of the Year from the previous two years. Mr. Poncey is one of three High School teachers who have made it through the application process and interview to be observed. The committees selection will be announced just prior to Spring Break. We wish Mr. Poncey Good Luck, IS is proud to have another teacher as a District Teacher of the Year Finalist.
