FIRST Robotics Competition

March 23 & 24

iPay One Center (Sports Arena)

The San Diego High Robotics Team, The Funky Monkeys, competed at the FIRST Robotics Competition at the iPay One Center on March 23^rd and 24^th. Our team of 12 students competed in a field of 46 teams from the Western US and Hawaii. Our team, in its first year of competition, finished 3^rd after the qualifying rounds and won the Highest Rookie Seed Award. IS Students Chris Towler, Roxy Crawford and Tara Riffle were members of the team.
