Got Milk?

Last school year, senior Adam Takeda entered a writing contest sponsored by the Got Milk organization on Healthy Choices at the School of International Studies. Adam won the contest, and part of the award was a $1000 check to the school to be used to promote healthy choices.

The presentation of the award was during Connections on Tuesday, December 5. A local milk company donated milk for all the students and our school purchased granola bars for each student.

Adam, currently a freshman at USC was unable to attend, so his sister accepted his award for him. Congratulations Adam, and thank you from the School of International Studies.
