Throws Camp
Chris Towler, Ricky Nunez-Moran and Andrea Bird
attended the San Diego Elite Throws Camp held at UCSD on Saturday February 17,
2007. The participants received coaching
in both the discus and shot put. The
coaching was done by Leslie Coons; 2-time American and Collegiate Record holder
in the hammer throw, Sheila Burrell; 2000 – 04 Olympian in the Heptathalon, and
Jarred Rome; 2004 Olympic Trials Champion in the discus.
