Application Process for 2010 - 2011

Step 1: Determining which application you need to complete

You will need to identify, using your home address, whether or not the SD Educational Complex is your home (Resident) school.

Step 2: Completing the correct application

If in the High School Box the school (or one of the schools identified) is SD Educ. Complex you can contact Ms. Gloria Fernandez (gfernandez1@sandi.net) after the Thanksgiving Break to make arrangements to complete a San Diego High Educational Complex Application where you will rank in order of preference the 6 High Schools at the Complex.

If in the High School Box it does not indicate SD Educ. Complex you will need to complete a School Choice (Magnet) Application and submit it directly to the San Diego Unified School District. You can access the application at the following link School Choice Application or by going to the following website (http://www.sandi.net/schoolchoice). Complete the application, submit the application as described in item #6 on the application. We recommend faxing or hand-delivering as this will give you a copy and date of submitting.

If inputting your address does not bring up any information – it means that you live Outside the San Diego Unified District boundaries. You may complete a School Choice (Magnet) Application (see above), but you must also complete and submit with the application an Inter-district Transfer. This form may be obtained from your home school district offices and submitted in person with the Magnet application to the San Diego Unified School District Enrollment Options office.

Deadline for all applications is: February 13, 2010

(We recommend that you submit all applications by February 9^th)
